ffinlo Costain
Argyll, United KingdomFocused on practical solutions, with an environmental and farm animal welfare focus, ffinlo is the founder of sankalpa supported think tank — Farmwel and editor of the Farm Gate podcast.
Although ffinlo started out as a theatre designer, it didn’t take long for him to realise his path in life was to be something very different. In 1997 a Quaker summer school in Geneva sparked his passion for politics. After retraining, ffinlo went on to become the party manager for the Green Party followed by roles with Adopt-A-Minefield, and the Manx National Farmers’ Union where he ran a highly successful campaign reconnecting farmers with local people. ffinlo has also worked as an environmental journalist and radio broadcaster. He contends that his design background was the perfect training for policy development as both disciplines are about fitting the best components into the right box in the most effective way.
