Jame Bristow, The Mindfulness Initiative (1) — sankalpa changemaker

After graduating in psychology, Jamie started his career in advertising. Working for top agencies such as TBWA and Wieden+Kennedy, for brands including PlayStation, Nissan and Nokia. 

Jamie then went on to work for a climate campaign and became a global brand director before going on to join the digital meditation start-up, Headspace. His role within Headspace led to his involvement with the Mindfulness All-Party Parliamentary Group, initially as a volunteer researcher, he was later asked to take over as director of The Mindfulness Initiative in 2015.

Today Jamie is the director of sankalpa supported charity The Mindfulness Initiative. While in post Jamie has co-created the Mindful Workplace Community — an international network designed to explore, promote and support the sustainable application of mindfulness in the workplace.

Although The Mindfulness Initiative now advises politicians and policymakers around the world, we are dependant on visionary funders who share our ambition to help create a more conscious and compassionate society — this makes a partnership with sankalpa a natural fit.
